2nd Grade Grading Scale

For Literacy, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and Science:
3: Consistently meets expectations for grade 2
2: Inconsistently meets expectations for grade 2
1: Does not yet meet expectations for grade 2
State assessments will not be included in the factoring of a student’s grade.

The teacher will also include comments for the following areas including; Classroom Behavior, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The comments may include: student is working to their fullest potential, student needs to put forth more effort, student is not working to their fullest potential, student’s work is consistent, student’s work is inconsistent, or improvement needed
