Students are not assigned a lot of homework in my class. Students complete most of their work during the school day. The only homework that is assigned on a regular basis Monday through Thursday is spelling. It is the same each week. There is no homework assigned on Friday’s. Each student needs to complete their daily spelling assignment:
Mrs. Crowther will be using the Scott Foresman Book Series for reading and spelling instruction.
Monday- write spelling sentences.
Tuesday-write your spelling words in pencil and then use two or three different colored crayons to trace over the words (Rainbow Writing).
Wednesday-write your words in pencil, then trace over the vowels with a red pencil or pen.
Thursday-write your words in pencil, then circle the consonants with a blue pen.
Friday-no homework is assigned.
